About Friesian Horse Stables

Of course is sounds a bit odd, a trading stable that trades Friesian horses and who calls itself a dating bureau every now and then. Trading horses has always been something that is not very much appreciated under the people of our land. Of course we do trade when we sell our horses, but we do this completely different from the way people actually think we do.

A horse is not just something: it is pure emotion from both sides. You are not the only one who makes the final decision, the horse has to choose you too. A horse is just like us a living being made of flesh and blood, with feeling, emotion, sympathy and antipathy. Therefore we are convinced that not only you, but also the horse has to get the chance to show its feelings so you can make the right final decision. Because when you are going to  buy a horse, you are looking for a friend for life, one which you can share love and pain with. For us it is of great importance that in a short time a match develops and that there is a spark able to be felt by everyone. The intention is that you look at this horse with a broad smile and get the feeling that you want to share the rest of your life with this horse. The horse has to have a imaginary “smile” on his face too and close in. This feeling is different for everybody, but many satisfied customers have mentioned before that this feeling is a bit like having butterflies in your stomach. Because we train and raise all of our horses by ourselves we can clearly tell you what personality the horse has and for what this horse suitable is. Every horse and surely every costumer has a goal which he/she wants to achieve about what they expect from each other and want to do with each other. For instance, there are horses that have an immense talent for dressage and love to work, but there are also horses that like a lot of diversity and would rather make rides through the forest, polder and across the beach. We think it is of great importance that we listen carefully and well to the wishes of our customers and our horses. Only then can we, you and our horses guarantee an enjoyable, affectionate and happy horse life.

So a trading stable would not seem to be the right name for us, because when thinking of a trading stable people usually tend to think of small, dark stables where the horses barely come out of the stables and receive almost no love, care and attention. But that is not the way we roll. Every horse from our stable, deserves a wonderful, carefree life with lots of attention and love. That is why the word dating bureau is more like us. A dating bureau looks for the right match and so do we! Whether you live in a foreign country or not, we are always prepared to help you find the right horse!
